Granpa looks good in red don't you think? Posted by Picasa

Lucy!

She's just the cutest...someone in her family thinks so, too, because out of all the pix I have, there are 77 of her on my computer at work and the next closest is Tate with about 50. Posted by Picasa

Christmas Cookies at Nana's House

Hattie and Justin and the children came over tonight and we baked cookies and finished trimming the tree and had lots of fun. Here are some pix:

Keaton and Nellie playing with Nellie's toy that Nana bought her. It lights up and flashes and it's a wonderful thing to scoot and crawl to.

Here's Keaton admiring our Christmas tree. Justin says it's the nicest one he's seen so far this year...Nana said, "Is this your second one?"

Grandpa and Sammy hamming it up for the photographer...Keaton.

Nellie is so cute ... she likes those two middle fingers...but look that those EYES! Below is her Mom in the kitchen. Isn't she cute, too?

All he wants for Christmas is his 2 front teeth!

Justin and Nana enjoying watching the kids.

Ben is jealous of Nellie, so he doesn't let Nana out of his sight!

Found Another One! Tate, Miles, and Lu.

Alison's Photos of the Crew...

Nellie Crawled!

Nana said, "Look, she's crawling on all fours!" Her parents jumped up and took a look...I'd say that's the first time she was observed crawling. December 7, 2005.

Shopping with Keaton and Sammy...Whew!

Last night Keaton asked me if I could take him shopping to get some presents for his mom and dad. I said I would but before we could leave Sammy began to look like he was going to throw a fit...so we brought him. Tried to fool him with the old ploy, "Stay home and Keaton will get you a present," but that didn't work.

We went to WalMart because I knew there would be bustling activity there and lots to choose from. We had fun, but there wee some moments when Grandpa had to be firm and keep us on task...lots of toys you know.

We got some wonderful blocks for Nellie and a couple of good presents for Papa and something for Mom, too.

When I took them home, I told Hattie I just don't see how she does it. Keaton is such a drain on energy...he's a wonderful boy, but just full of fun and ...talk...talk...talk...the only problem is he is so close to the floor and far from and old guy's ears that I had to keep saying, "Speak up! Keaton, or Grandpa can't hear you."

Sammy was pretty much trapped in the seat on the cart so that worked out well. Keaton kept hanging back trying to make me think he was getting lost. Of course Samma Lamma wanted everything that he saw.

If there were no constraints on budget for Christmas, those two parents would have had a buncha wonderful presents under the tree from their sons. As it is, Keaton's budget was skimpy. Sammy sticking his tongue out at me while he is watching TV. Keaton looking anxious over something before we went shopping.

That cute mother of theirs! She's so looking forward to taking a semester off of school. I think she has been going since Keaton was born...but I'm sure someone will correct me. She has figured out how she can take some time off and still have all of her loans and grants and everything in place. More power to her. She has earned a rest.

Miles William Parker!

Ask me what I know about Miles and I'll tell you ... not much. This having children scattered around the country is the pits if you ask this ol' Grandpa. I know that he is much loved by his older brother, because I saw a picture of Tate so excited to see his new little brother that he almost peed his pants. But other than that I'm currently out of the loop...but I'm beginning to sound like a whiner.

Below is a picture of deer in Miles' backyard.

Below is a picture of Miles' living room in his new home in Connecticut (sp? who ever thought I'd have to remember how to spell it???).

And a picture the other direction, with the Christmas Tree now in view.

Here's the little angels...Tate and Lucy in their bedtime jammies in front of that beautiful tree.

Tate in Texas at their old home.

And Lucy, too.
